Bird Favor Tags in Pink and Brown

I love what I do and I have 'met' amazing people that I am honored that they allow me to be part of their loved ones' celebrations, may that be birthday, baby shower, wedding, bridal shower, baptism, etc.

I think I'm blessed that I 'deal' with cute stuff everyday. Looking at what I'm working with always puts a smile on my face. It seems that I always be in the party mood when I'm at my little office. I don't call it working. It's more like....I'm playing!  My main goal is that my customers would feel the same way as they open their packages. More importantly, that the party is a hit and everyone has tons of fun.

I always enjoy receiving pictures from my customers on how they use my tags, banner, cupcake toppers, etc. I appreciate them taking the time to let me know how the party went and sending me sweet pictures. This definitely makes my day.

I love to share them with you as well for some inspirational ideas.

I have these adorable bird favor tags available in my shop, and they come in pink and yellow cardstocks. The birds themselves are adorable, designed in floral motif and come in a few different colors for variation. They are handpunched from beautiful embossed scrapbook papers that I bought at local scrapbook store.

Bird Favor Tags in Pink and Yellow

A customer saw these and asked me if I can do them in pink and brown to match her party color scheme. Absolutely, I said!

She also wanted them in different shape, which is also not a problem. You have to love handmade, don't you, when almost everything can be customized just for you.

Here they are in pretty pink and brown, in scallop circle and scallop square shapes.

They were mailed away and not too long after that, she sent me these pictures (one of many reasons why I love her!).

How about these? Different favors and all tied and adorned with the sweet bird tags. She also made them into toppers.  Adorable!!

New Design: Chic Birdie Tags

Introducing the new design that I whipped up last week: delicious sweet bird tags.

Made of layers of cardstocks that are not just regular cardstocks. They are high quality bazzill cardstocks. The pink matches perfectly with the ribbon and the bird image. The bling teal just cries out for attention "look how beautiful I am". Furthermore, they are textured cardstock which add dimension to the tag. The glittered and embossed polkadot patterned cardstock just make it perfect.

The cute image bird is from my dear talented friend of mine: VinkDesign.etsy.com

Feel free to snatch a set at my shop. I have 6 sets ready-made for now. So really, they're one-of-a-kind! :-)

Sweet Little Birds

Thought it'll be fun to schedule some articles ahead while I'm away on a trip to Bali. I felt I neglected my readers too long when I went to Singapore in early February.
This is a sweet short post of a couple of sweet little birdies.

Tweet - Tweet O' Little Birdie

Still using felt as main embellishment (really! I can't stop now), here are some of my cards with little birdies too.

Finds - Bird Lovers

I love animals. I grew up in a suburban area. We had a big house and a very large backyard. No, we did not live in a farm area, but we had so many different kinds of pets. We had dogs (more than 10!), fishes, chicken, turtles, and birds. So you can imagine what kind of noises we had in our place. It's kind of fun, though!

This time, I'm dedicated my findings at Etsy to bird lovers out there. They are all $15 or less and will be perfect gifts for the upcoming holiday season.

Mod Bird Pocket Mirrors from MadisonMade are a must have accessories. Slip one on your little purse and show it off once a while. Be sure to hear the 'ohh and aww' as a compliment. $3.50.

LittleThingsDesign has this Rattle Rag Ball that is so adorable. 100% cotton fabrics are used. I really love its soft colors. It's on my wish list too for my little one. $12.

Do you need a stocking stuffer? This set of buttons will be a perfect one. They are available at SamariaProject for $5. Each is hand colored and packed nicely. You probably want to keep a set or two for yourself.

This Chirp the Day Away Pillow Cover from Sun2Create is bright and funky. It'll make a conversation piece, that's for sure. Now, I just feel I need to sit down and hug the pillow. $15.

BroadwayBeads is a talented jewelry maker and she has this brilliant idea in protecting sterling silver from tarnish. She made this anti-tarnish zippered pouch, using a special fabric. "Perfect for travel or keeping your jewelry in at home. Stuff one into your purse for safe keeping, or storing your jewelry while at the gym!" $8.5.

My love affair with felt led me to Ahyingmui's store. She has a selection of cute birdie brooches made from multi layer of felt and fabric. Brooches are small and yet powerful accessories that can make a statement. Don't you agree? $12.

For anyone who loves to read, Wool Felt Bird Bookmark is a thoughtful gift to give. I love the design with details involved all the way to the ribbon itself. Hurry up and get one at Neskat. $7.

Happy shopping! Buy handmade!
