Creation of the Week: Add a Little Touch

Hello again. This week, I'd like to share my new cards. What is special about these cards are the flower embellishment. It's handmade :-), handmade by me of course.

I use beaded Indian fabric, cut it as a circle, double layer them. I placed them on top of layer circle punched papers.

I LOVE It! :-) It adds a little nice touch to the card as you know I love dimensions. Lol.
Not only that it's one of a kind embellishment that you can't find anywhere else, but I also have a part in recycling (these are scrap fabrics given by a friend).

Now it's your turn to show me your unique creation!

And if you haven't entered this week's giveaway....then you should head over here.

Creations of the Week

This week I focus on making more masculine cards.

Granted that this maybe still a bit cute but cute is not only for girls. There are cute guys out there, aren't there?

Awww....together is a wonderful place to be! Perfect for anniversary or wedding occasion, or anything where love is involved.

I'll be making more of these on the weekend and list them on my shop.

Creations of the Week

It seems that I've been blogging about other shops a lot lately. It seems that I haven't shared with you MY creations as much as I used to, as much as I intended to when I started blogging.

I'm going to post my creations of the week on one of these days starting this week *fingers crossing*: Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays. I don't want to commit to a specific day at this point as I honestly feel that I need to give myself a little break and not be tight with more schedules. Flexibilty...yeah that's what I need right now.

The Spotted Tuesday and Saturday Artisan will continue as is. I LOVE featuring other artists. Hopefully I can host giveaways every Sundays, but this is not a promise either.

Without further a due, here are my newest cards:

The little tweet bird is back!!! Every now and then, I miss these felt birdies.

Mother's day is just around the corner. This year, I have a great start. A few of these cards have been sold. Really, are there any mothers who don't deserve this card?

More felts. And with all these details, $3.50 seems to be a great bargain! :-)

Yes, spring has sprung!

Check out my shop for more selection of handmade greeting cards.

More Cards

Just quickly sharing cards that I made last week. Some are listed in my shop, while others to follow.

I think making 7 cards for a week while I have a full -time job (a total of 11 hours including commuting, 5 days/ week), a toddler to raise, and a house to maintain, on top of keeping my sanity, is quite an accomplishment, don't you think? Oh...and I have 2 Etsy shops to maintain...

I tried forcing myself to stay up late every night to do what I need to do to maintain my shops, but I realized that if I keep forcing myself, I'm simply taking the fun out of cardmaking. That simply beats the purpose, doesn't it?

So tonight, I'll try to be in bed by 10pm at the latest, and hopefully by doing this, I'll re-charge myself and can stay up a bit late on the weekend.

I'm curious to know how do you manage your days? Share some tips, will you?
