Countdown to Christmas 2014 - Week 1

Ready or not, it's just 95 days left until Christmas. 

Julie and Blu has invited us again  this year to join Countdown to Christmas Link up. Week 1 is here. The rule is very easy. In fact, there is only  ONE RULE - You must promote all the items posted as soon as the posting closes. Seems daunting? I have participated last year, and believe me that this task is so rewarding.

Sweet Sundae Ice Cream

It's hard to believe that I'm still longing for summer. We haven't really gotten a good summer here. It was SO nice on the weekend and then it gets cold and cloudy again. Ethan, my little man and I had a date on the weekend. We simply agreed to eat ice cream at the deck. What a moment that I cherish, and it inspired me to create these adorable tags.

Getting By

This has been another busy week. I'm hoping for sales and one day I could do this as a living. I'm getting there slowly even though it's tough. I have a few orders lining up, most of them are custom orders, which I LOVE!! Now that the orders are flowing in, I am struggling to manage my time. I'm sure you understand how hard it is to manage our 24 hrs in a day when we have to wear many different hats (mom, wife, an employee of a day job, and a shop owner and artist of my little shop). 24 hrs a day is certainly not enough and I say this many times. Silly me, cuz this will not change. Anyone out there feels the same?

 Anywhoooo... it's time to say bye for now as DH is about to pick me up from work. I can't wait to go home and wear my mom's hat. PS: those pink chic tags is available at my shop. I'll be making these tonight.

Owls Tags

Happy Monday!

It's a long weekend over here and I absolutely love it. Another day off to spend with my family, what not to love?

Owls....just can't get enough of them. They are just darn cute!


I have them with Happy Birthday wording and Thanks for Coming (to list soon!). If you'd like to have them personalized, sure you can! Change it to names, dates, etc.

Soon, they will be in invitations and cupcake toppers. Oh how fun making them!

Happy Saturday

What's the plan for today? I'm sorry to say that I don't have a Saturday Artisan to introduce today. I am on a mission to recruit, but in the meantime, I could be the Saturday Artisan of the day. Lol. I worked on 3 new tags this week. The Transportation on the Go like below is one of my son's favorite (no doubt about that!).

And my favorites: Mushrooms!! When I saw the images, I know I had to get them. They are super cute, with a touch of vintage, they are perfect to adorn baked goodies bags or anything that involves natural herbs.

This week, I'm going to work on a few more tag designs, complete orders to mail on Monday which will go as far as Honolulu, as well as take in-laws around for more sightseeing and shopping. The weather is not in our favor (wet...wet...and wet) but this weekend will be the last weekend my dad-in-law has before returning to Indonesia so we'll take what we can have. Whatever you'll do, I wish you all have a relaxing and yet fun weekend!

Oh my, I feel I'm in the mood for tea party. Eating those scrumptious cake, drinking earl grey tea in good companion of a few good friends.

My Creative Space

I'm finally back in 'my creative space' posts now and it feels so good to be able to go back to the routine.

I have listed these adorable tags today but will be making more of them tonight. Antique baby cards were digitally reproduced, and now we can have them as tags that go with baby gifts.

Cutie Owl Tags

I can't believe we're already half week through. Hope your days have been great so far.

I created these tags a couple of weeks ago. They're irresistably cute, I'd say!


I love the fact that I can use many different color cardstocks and create different set each time. Of course, I always accomodate for those who prefer certain colors.

Flower Tags

I'm in Vancouver, BC...Canada!

But sadly, not much time to blogging for now as I'm occupied with little one as we are both trying
to adjust with the time difference, weather and environment in general. All of these causes adjustment to Ethan's routine. The journey is not ended just yet. We'll be leaving to Toronto on early Sunday morning to be reunited with my DH.

In the meantime, hope you enjoy my flowery tags. The two tags above were gifts mailed to my custom order client in the US along with her bookmarks and cards.

These tags below were made as I didn't want to waste even a tiny scrap paper.


I hope I can go back to cardmaking once I settle down and hopefully...it's soon.

Completed Orders

Hooray!! 2 custom orders are completed. Still, there are a couple more custom orders to do along with the regular cards and tags to list in my shop and I'm glad that these things keep me real busy :-) I got a chance to make these bird tags this afternoon. Aren't they adorable? I have listed them in my shop. The stuffy nose and sore throat are still with me though they are not as bad as a couple of days ago. I'm getting better slowly but surely I hope :-)

My Kind of Tags

I finally made these tags. I had them in mine for a while but only got a chance to actually made them a couple of days ago. Too adorable, I think. I just love how they turned out. Really, I just love felt and paper and they go really well together. A perfect match!

Think Outside the Box

I bought a stack of scrap papers for ridiculously cheap. It came in variety, some are thick as cardstocks, some are glittered and honestly some are just not my type. Of course, I don't want to waste them. My main reason for buying scrap papers are for making cards. After all, handmade greeting cards have been the main product at my shop.

The solution? Think outside the box.

Are these tags beautiful? A little patterned paper that I would not use for a card add into a perfection of this gift tag. The felt tree is a new design, different than my typical round tree. Do you know where the idea came from? :-)


These shabby chic gift tags below are popular in my shop. It gained the most hearts at short-time. And they are sold out pretty quick.

So when you're stuck, think outside the box. Make something different. Perhaps break it down to little pieces and they will look much more stunning than when they are as a whole.

Unfortunately, there are only few of these tag sets left (made from limited scrap papers). Once they're gone, they're gone. Just one of a kinds.

So I admit, I love making gift tags! But I also LOVE being TAGGED!

1. My favorite food is fried chicken. But a side of chilli or 'sambal' is a must!

Just want to share with you some tags that I've been working on lately. I made a few batches at once and why didn't I think about that long time ago. Duh! But now I'm facing a new problem. I need to figure out away to store them in a way that nice to look at and at the same time well-organized. I'm running out of boxes too.

It looks that more and more of them in the backyard lately. I'm just afraid that Mocha will step on them while he's doing his business. I, myself, am not dare to walk in the backyard with Ethan for now. They're just everywhere.
