Christmas day is getting closer. It's now 84 days left until Christmas.

Ready or not, it's just 95 days left until Christmas. 

Julie and Blu has invited us again  this year to join Countdown to Christmas Link up. Week 1 is here. The rule is very easy. I am a bit late in posting our Countdown to Christmas series this week. Life has just gotten in a way but it's all good because I had a chance to spend a day with DH and little man yesterday. After completing a few projects, I took the chance to chill out a little bit and seize the moment.

Collections of the Week: Friday, Oct 25th to Thursday, Oct 31st, 2013

Happy Friday!

Here we are in November already! I just can't believe how time flies. There are a lot of Holidays to celebrate around this time of the year.  

Halloween was just yesterday. Some said that it's their most favorite holiday, the day that they have been waiting for all year around. Fun costumes, spooky decorations, including Jack O' Lantern, and Trick or Treating are customary practices in most countries.


Thanksgiving for the US folks is just around the corner. It is the forth Thursday of November while Canadians have theirs on the second Monday of October. Thanksgiving is actually my next most favorite holiday after Christmas. Thanksgiving day was historically celebrated as a day of giving thanks for the blessing of the harvest. Today, it is more known as a tradition where families and friends get together and give thanks for what they have for. A special meal is served, which include large roasted turkey.

Christmas is not too far behind. Even though Christmas is celebrated around the world, it is celebrated differently among countries. Christmas traditions may vary as they are deeply influenced by local cultures. I find them intriguing. Sweet friends, Christmas is fast approaching. It's one of my most favorite holidays and I'm sure for most people as well. What not too love? The festive feeling, the bright and cheerful decors? Christmas Spirit

It's early December, I can't believe that soon it'll be Christmas, then a whole 2009 year awaiting upon us.

We went to Supermall yesterday. First thing first. My hubby was craving for coffee. Starbucks coffee to be exact. As we headed to Starbucks, from a far we could see its decor in red. That means Starbucks has served its Christmas blends. Yei! We were so excited since it means that we could get eggnog latte. Not!! The barista told us they do not serve anything with eggnog in Indonesia. :-( So, instead we had Toffee Nut Latte and Dark Cherry Mocha. Sitting down at Starbucks store brought our memory back to Vancouver during holiday season. Such a sweet memory.

Those Christmas cards on top are for our dear friends in Vancouver and Japan. Our friendship continues even though we're so far apart from each other. I hope someday(soon) . . .we'll meet again.
