Alice in Wonderland Tea Bag Holder

Alice in Wonderland is certainly a timeless story and is a very popular story for any ages. Last week, I was approached by a client to create teabag holders for a baby shower that she'll be hosting in June.

This is what I came up with and I'll be making 20 of these for her. I also have it available for everyone else who is interested to purchase here at my adorebynat shop.

By the way, if you haven't entered to win 150 custom return address labels, you may want to do it now.

TGIF! Says Nat

I'm so glad to share with you that I was featured by Infinite, a Singapore-based company, started by 2-gals who are passionate about handmade. For details, please read here. You'll a bit more information about me and my cards :-) And if you're in Singapore, please come by at their shop and you'll find a bunch of great cards made by artists around the world.

Today I listed 2 more sets of tea bag holders, just in time for holidays. I had to deactive one set of tea bag holders simply because I screwed up making them this afternoon. I scored the paper too hard and ruined it, sadly :-( So yes, things are not always work as they should be. The good thing is that I can re-use the paper if I think creatively.

Update on the Port Moody Craft Fair

Just a quick update on the fair that I participated. It was GOOD overall. I didn't make a lot of sales but good enough, actually considering the low traffic that we had, I made enough sales.

What is more important is that I met 8 other crafters who are very crafty in their fields. We managed to fit our tables in a basement where the craft fair was held. Some of them are Etsian sellers and some of them sell locally. We learned from each other, not only about crafting and turning a hobby into business but also sharing our life as a mom. Most of these crafters are moms of young toddler like myself.

Furthermore, an idea came up to do another fair at a different venue. Apparently one of the ladies lives in a great complex with 'captive' audience with a gym that we can book. Sharing the cost definitely can make the pricebecome reasonable. We'll see how it goes.

These teabag holder seems to be a hit. You can find them at my shop. They are really great for stocking stuffers.

Heart Me

Here is another thing that I love.

I love checking my ETSY he♥rts. It's such a flattering feeling knowing that there are people out there loves my cards. Call me nuts, but I check them not only one or twice but many times in a day. And this is an everyday routine. Thank goodness that we have Majaba.org, where number of hearts and views are shown as a list. Of course the list can go on and on to number of pages if you have a lot of items in your store. But checking my hearts through Etsy is more time consuming since I need to click on each item to see its hearts.

I'm curious to see who hearts me. I clickety click to see their stores or favorites. It's just like finding a treasure. And the secret admirer...that's such a mystery! But I still love 'em. :-)

Here are my most he♥rted cards and papercrafts:
Thank you all who heart me!
