More Sets of Cards

We found out that each of us can only bring 2 x 23 kg baggage. It was 2 x 32 kg when we flew to Indonesia last year. That means it is about 50 kg reduced in total as a family.

Today I dug in my box of cards, reorganized, and put some of them in a set of 5. They are available at my Adore By Nat shop.

I REALLY need to get rid of my cards as I won't be able to bring them all. And the paper supplies . . . it's still piling in my drawers. Call me desperate but I got to admit . . . I AM!!

The planning is already in mind. I have to leave some of my rubberstamps behind. It's true that acrylic stamps are much better over all. They don't take so much space and very light in weight. Papers . . . I have to use as many as I could but at the same time I'm fighting myself as I really like to collect papers too. Oh darn!

Wish me luck on my attempt in selling all of my cards and clearing out the inventory.

Featured on Gift Guides

A while back ago, I blogged about how I love checking on how many Etsy he♥rts I have in here. I check daily (more than one or twice) at craftcult.com (previously Majaba.org). Today, I did more than what I usually do. I clicked on the "featured" tab. I might not on a Front Page yet, but I'm on gift guides and that's really cool! I wish I've discovered this function sooner...but I'll be even crazier in checking and checking.

It's one of my onesie felt card.

It certainly made my day :-)

Toronto, My Soon-Becoming-Home?

My husband and I have decided that we're going back to Canada instead of staying here in Indonesia. It's time to move on. We pray to God and hoping we're making the right decision. I love Vancouver but it's a family decision that we are moving to Toronto instead. Housing is much more affordable and we'll be able to do more with what we have as we're thinking of a long-term plan. It's not going to be an easy change. This is one of major life changes after Ethan was born, a year or so ago and we have to be ready with the uncertainties especially during this global financial crisis.

So here are few artworks of fellow artisans about Toronto, in which represents Toronto in its own unique way.

Sweet in Pink

Craving for pink?

Somehow having a boy making me less of a girl. Shopping for clothes used to be one of my favorite things to do, but now? Not so much. I shop for my little one and love making him looks good. But sometimes, when we go out I don't feel that I dress up enough. My little one looks so cute and I'm just...blah.

So, I try to get back to the old me, be a little bit girly. I'm 30 something and yet hate wearing makeup. May be now it's the time, eh?

Believe

Believe in God by

jlwplusdmw

We have been struggling, trying to make the best decision for the family among so many options. First of all, we are thankful for having options to choose while others don't.

Today, I was reminded by this song, "God Will Make a Way". It has always been my favorite song and yet I haven't listened to it lately.

God will make a way
Where there seems to be no way
He works in ways we cannot see
He will make a way for me
He will be my guide
Hold me closely to His side
With love and strength
For each new day
He will make a way
He will make a way

By a roadway in the wilderness
He'll lead me
And rivers in the desert will I see
Heaven and earth will fade
But His Word will still remain
He will do something new today

Flowers

Latest creations using punches. I love my punches as they're fun to work with. The end result...well, you'll be the judge.

I've been quite stressful lately, mainly because we need to make a decision in terms of where we are going to live. It's time to move on. We're thinking of moving back to Canada but this time we're thinking of going to Toronto instead of Vancouver. My husband will need to find a job and to be honest, we're not too sure if now is a good time to make the move. Finding a job in this global crisis is going to be really hard. Sometimes I wish that we could go back to the time when both of us had our good jobs and didn't have to quit. Uh, I wish life is easier...

Trip to Bali -- Part 4

Ubud is another must to visit place in Bali. A lot of art studios can be found here where you can find b.e.a.u.t.i.f.u.l artworks.

Famous local delicacies are also located in Ubud:

Babi Guling Bu Oka (Bu Oka's Roasted Pig)

Bebek Bengil (Dirty Duck)
There is no way we can eat 2 dishes in 3-hours visit so we have to try Bebek Bengil on our next trip to Bali. I'm so curious why they call it Dirty Duck. That's just too funny. Talking about our next trip to Bali, we're thinking of staying in Ubud. It's not too busy like Kuta and yet not too quiet like Nusa Dua.

Monkey Forest

Aren't these paintings just too cute? I bought the Owl and the Pig. They'll be perfect for Ethan's room (or my crafting room)
Now I wish that I bought more than two. Oh well . . . may be next time.

Trip To Bali -- Part 3 (Bedugul)

Bedugul is in mountain range so it's a bit cooler than Denpasar area, which I LOVE about it. It takes about 1 1/2 hours drive from our villa at Nusa Dua. The views are simply SpEcTaCuLaR. Greeny and so fresh.

If you do go to Bedugul, please be sure to visit this little cafe called Kafe Tahu (Tofu Cafe). Our driver recommended us to try and we're glad that we did. We (including Ethan) are tofu lover afterall.
