A few days I blogged about this custom order that I have to complete. Read here. Now they are completed! Honestly, I'm more pleased with the result than what I would have expected when they were in a design stage. I hope my client feels the same way.

Details are involved in a subtle way. The machine stitching, ball chain, eyelet, rhinestone, and shimmery gold-edge ribbons are all added to create an elegant bookmark.

Beautiful bookmarks made with metallic treasure gold, lithos brown, and missed silvery cardstocks and patterned papers chosen by my wonderful client. She is just so great to work with.

I worked on these on wee hours, talking to my DH on skype (thanks to today's technology), accompanied me on the other side of the world so I did not have to feel so lonely at night.

I just have to share the finished products with him through here as he won't be able to see them in person.

  1. Very pretty! What are these for? Are they wedding favors? For a christening?

    Nice work!

  2. Thanks! :-)

It's for volunteers at a religious conference. They deserve to get something handmade for their volunteer work, don't they?

  3. As the aforementioned client, I'd like to say they look very attractive from what I've seen. My mother-in-law will be visiting this week and I'll be sure to see what she and the other lady think. I'm so pleased!

  4. Hi Nat, those are so cool - I didn't know you could sew paper. Sheesh. You learn something every day, eh? TY for visiting my blog - today's was funny, LOL. It made me laugh out loud which is why I went with it, I'm glad you got a chuckle too. xJ

  5. Nat, these are wonderful!!! Thank you so much for your artistry and hard work. I am one of the women requesting these bookmarks for the conference and I can't be more pleased with them. I can't wait to give them away as a thank you to our many volunteers!
